Introduction

Hi! My name is Kyle, I am 16 and in grade 11 in Canada, and this is the blog for my fictional company, Eyeglass Studios. I named it Eyeglass because I had a dilemma. I have wanted to make a logo and company name for a year or so, and I had finally found the base name for the fictional property – CutOut. My friend had nicknamed me ‘CutOut’ because i spent all of one class cutting out these shapes for a final project. So, I had the prefix, I just needed a suffix, like Co. or Studios. Well, after some googling, I found that almost every name that includes CutOut was taken. So, I tried a couple other things.

I then remembered my friend named his company Ogre Games, and my other friend called his filming alias Mullet Productions. The first friend is a fairly large man, hence Ogre, and my second friend had, quite obviously, a mullet. So, since I wear glasses, and I know I don’t ever want to switch to contacts or get eye surgery, I figured not only does Eyeglass sound semi-professional, but it will stay with me for my life if somebody doesn’t take it. So, I hereby trademark Eyeglass Studios ™.

Moving on, what I do in my spare time is create video games for Windows and XBox 360 via XNA, make movies for film festivals on my iMac G5 PPC, some graphical design work on my iMac using Photoshop CS3, and mess around with audio for games via GarageBand. Just to clear things up, I don’t actually own any Windows Winblows PC’s, but I use the one’s at school and my mothers work laptop.

For future reference, I own an iMac, like I said earlier, and its a G5 PowerPC with 1.8GHz under the hood. I also own a Nintendo Wii, fully hacked and running the Homebrew Channel, and a Sony PlayStation 2. I do not own a Sony PlayStation 3 or a Microsoft XBox 360.

Well, that wraps up my introductory post. I will be posting relative to what things I’m working on. And if you’re wondering, I’m using Blogo on my Mac. Thanks for reading, and I hope you come back.
